While I have nothing against Sergey getting shot, the way he was shot is cheap and unbelievable. According to his reminiscence he's a succesful sniper / assassin type soldier. And now not only was he almost suprised by some scientist but also a little kid (Nagi) who possible can't have any other experience than that of court life and manipulating people. Simply because he's so young.

They should have made Nagi bring a squad of soldiers to the place, who would have shot Sergey.
