It was certainly a very level episode, both in good and bad. Not any highlights at all, but fortunately no curry of life either. Stupid things like characters getting their asses kicked far too easily and the nail illogicality TS8 mentioned. But since we see the same discontinuity and cheap tricks in every filler, I try to forget them as long as it doesn't get as gross as the curry of death.
And before we knew it, Naruto had become a Sage, and uttered insights of infinite wisdom:
