I was under the impression that the gangster image originated with poor black people too. In any case, I'd have to agree bein' "gangsta" is way overrated.
This brings to mind a Carlos Mencia joke (even though I hate the man) that said something like when a white person dresses in baggy clothes and mumbles in gibberish it's called being "homeless" but when a black person does it it's called being a "rapper"

Well, i just thought that calling someone (maybe someone white) black even though their not, but just because they are gangsta would be like saying all black people act gangsta. So some black people might be offended cuz alot of black people dont act gangsta and people generalize black people as being gangsta when they say acting black.
Anyway, i wasnt even that serious when i first posted about the racist thing. i dont even think its that bad.
