Couldnīt find a thread for the first show, but a new thread seems overkill.

I started watching Ginga Nagareboshi Gin two days ago. Having a blast. This is genuine drama in its purest form. No filler. Episode 1 itself has more story than most anime have in an entire season. And itīs not childish at all. Best way to describe as of episode 12: Game of Thrones with dogs and less sex (although thereīs potential for that to become a theme, too, lol).

This is so great. I love the oldschool opening. Gin is the best dog ever. Fearless, likeable, gets the job done. Whatīs more, the story isnīt predictable at all. Characters will die when you expect it least. Villains will have their victories, too. And then thereīs the ninjadog clan!

Iīd currently give it a 9/10 on my MAL list. This anime is simply pure entertainment, not a single boring scene, they donīt pad at all.

I must strongly recommend this anime, if you enjoy watching merciless drama.

This all goes for the first anime, though. Obviously, I will watch Ginga Densetsu Weed after Iīve finished Nagareboshi Gin.
