Episode 3 is LOADS better than the first two.

The action in the fight was decent, finally saw that his sword can move more. The blonde military pilot (what's his name) was pretty good, but don't know why he didn't use more flamethrower...

The animation is still mediocre, at best. Sometimes it's good, but then there will be inconsistencies in scope/timing, and the Zoid movement can either be beautifully done or really awkward. Sometimes the Zoids just look like they're being carried by strings.

Lots of typical "leaving home" elements in this episode, but they did it pretty well. I like how they presented the dilemma seriously, and all of the characters reacted pretty believably.

Episode 3 just bought my attention for a few more episodes. Let's see if it gets even better.
