    it's like god hates us all, can't they just finish the stupid tournament already?
    I could stand the annoyingly long matches, since that's basically the gist of the series, but when they put in empty filler episodes in a episode-limited OVA format... that's just mean.
    honestly, it's not as we watched the anime for the charecters or something, just let the shit end already.

    Are you talking about that beach episode? Sadly... that isn't filler. That was in manga.

    really? they actually had a chapter like that in the middle of the matches?
    that's really stupid.

    I have nothing against the regular 'out of plot' episodes, i really liked the chibi ones, and the not-tennis centered ones were also nice (though i would have liked them better if they would lead anywhere), but it's a diffrent thing to see it in the middle of the tournament...

    Well the volleyball episode was suppose to be before the National Tournament. But since Echizen 'supposedly' went to the US open, they couldn't do the filler episode so I guess they thought it would be best to waste our time and interrupt the goodness which is the National Tournament.
