I agreeing with seanos on the matter of the opening comparsion to the rest of the episode. I am assuming it will be getting more bloody and we will see some murders but I dont think I can take the crap getting to that part of the series. I'll give it one or two more episodes, before it finds its way to Haku's home for shitty anime series.

I just watched the first episode, I think this is going to be an awesome series. The opening scene was great, but the rest of the episode was shitty, though I think it's setting up the series nicely. I actually like it this way, there's a big contrast of themes here, so I'm sure many unexpected things will happen in the future, I'm sticking with this one.

really... by ep5 I realize, there is two ways this show can go, one that will merely be entertaining, and one that can make it memorable. oh, and this show is violent as hell, not so much because of the blood, but because it all feels (and sounds) so real.

I happened to watch starting since monday. Jeez is this series *&#$ed up. I was wondering if anyone is still following this? Whats the deal with episode 4 and 5?
I watched the first episode, was quite impressed, and somehow forgot about it.
Watched 2-4 last night (Sticking with Triad releases), man it's gotten a whole lot better, looking forward to next release now.
Would advise sticking with Triad or Ayu on this, unless wind? have gotten better since first episode, wasn't impressed (overuse of cursing, doesn't sound at all right).
I'm sticking with WIND simply because they actually take the effort to release one episode a week. Their quality is decent for the past few episodes.

the first ep of "Detective Story" makes me really want to go there! i wanna if everyone in that village is as crazy as they are in the show.
Edit: is anyone still watching this? you should... each arc is better than the previous one (maybe except the one with the policeman, but that's only two eps). At any rate... episode 19, in the detective story arc, is the one i've enjoyed the most. (by the way, the whole arc is about Shion... and she is... well watch it and then discuss!)

I find it difficult to watch the detective arc without having to constantly remind myself that Shion is a 5th grader...
