Hehe that's an awesome idea. It's like that guy that made the milliondollarpage and sold each pixel for one dollar.

that some old news...... last time i checked he had this to trade:

it even past on the news channel here (in Montreal)
Wow this is genius. It's hard to believe that he traded away a red paper clip for a pen. It's easy to see that once this thing became big, people were simply trading to be involved in the phenomenon. The biggest problem was probably trading the paper clip for the pen, and then the pen for the door knob.
who would trade a camping stove for a doornob?![]()
LaZie made this...a long time ago.

props to this guy. this is truly one of the craziest things i've ever heard of. although it makes me sad for not accomplishing anyhting in my life. As for what BOC said, ya that would've been the biggest obstacle. However, the pen -> door knob thing was pure luck. It just so happened that the artist liked the idea behind the whole barter system of the website, so she gave him something worth alot more then a pen.
i wonder where he would've been if he hadn't gotten that door knob....?
Where would he have been if he had a blue paperclip?
That's very true. I have a number of regular, silver paperclips, but no one wants them.
Apparently the guy had 2 camping stoves...and need a doorknob.Originally Posted by Chaoskiddo

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs
