How did Kiba steal Akamaru if he was under the supervision of an Anbu team? Also is Kiba that silly to steal a dog that took out an anbu team and think he can control it himself?
I disliked this episode not for being filler or for being in bad quality but there were too many errors in logic and ability.
i'll be honest, it was pretty crappy, but I still enjoyed it for the most part. Kiba is still one of my favorite Konoha nins and it was actually an interesting idea for a filler episode.

Looks like they're going for the berserk animal theme again in the next episode... but shots of young Sannins is promising. I'm intrigued to see more about their pasts together, even if it's just useless crap they throw in for the fillers.

This wasn't bad at all. Certainly better than the Star Village arc, but at some points it seemed like they were cramming in the storyline just so they'd finish it in one episode. It was still good, I think.
The next one seems... um... interesting. The storyline sounds kind of lame but the fact that we get to see the Three Sannin as kids will make it worth it for me.

They used bacteria not virus. The increasing body was supposed to be dramatic. Yeah people that can walk on water, shoot fireballs out of their mouth, or hypnotize you are all believable, too. The Konoha syringe was the only real interesting part in this episode. It is a fake and they were too lazy to draw a real one. It's pressurizer plunge was backwards and connected to the needle which somehow slides forward yet still works as intended, dubious.
I found the prospect of a group of ninjas instantly committing suicide pretty funny.

Its been stated already but I just got around to watching this episode. Honestly this wasn't all that bad as filler if we had gotten episodes like this about the each character where Naruto didn't have to be the main character of every episode I think overall this would be more bearable.
I'm not looking forward to the next episode the preview looks absolutely horrible, but the preview for this one was also pretty bad so I hope I'm pleasently surprized yet again.
Nothing. That is what I felt while I was watching this episode. I guess since the filler episodes have let me down since they started, I am anxioulsy starved for a REALLY good episode. I mean I think back to the sasuke chase arc, every single episode of the chuunin exam or even the Zabuza arc and try to compare.
So while this episode did well in not making things absurd but kept it simple which was good, it was like staying home to listen to AM radio rather than going out to a New York movie premier. There is some good things on AM radio but there is more of a bang at a premier. I liked and at the same time was disappointed by it.
Not confused, that's exactly what I meants. If they combine to form a giant two-headed dog, it wouldn't be surprising if Akamaru could turn into a giant dog on his own, and Kiba just provided a second head.Originally Posted by RyougaZell

The chibi (if i'm using the term wrong go fuck yourself) Oro preview makes this whole episode worth downloading. My new filler judgement criteria is does it make me want to gouge out my eyes. Many of them do, so since I sat through this one unmoved I will call it a sucessful filler and promptly forget it happened.
