Ilabb is absolutely right. This ova by itself is so empty that even Naruto's head would seem filled in comparison. It only consists of lousy fights not really worth seeing and a few stupid jokes we have heard before a dozen times in the series.

Translating this would be waste of time, which is probably why it hasn't been translated into English... Only a real narutard could enjoy this.

That being said, I only watched it till the end because of the subtitles. It was just too funny to see Naruto in Finnish (with all the bad spelling included).

I must be out of my mind, but I have actually translated a third of this... thing already. With any luck (if you can call getting a translation to an abomination luck) I'll finish it soon, and somehow make it available to anyone stupid enough to want it.

It'll be an srt file, so with any decent player you can overlay the translation on top of the finnish hardsubs.

And that's actually the reason why I'm doing this. I don't understand any more Japanese than any regular anime fanboy, and thus an opportunity to get to know even a little any subbing technique never presented itself. Now, however, I got one freeware program, and found it works alright. Altogether, the subbing process is fairly interesting. And no, I'm not talking about the awesome work the subber groups are doing. Me making softsubs based on finnish subtitles isn't quite the same things as they doing their 1337 stuff.

Bottomline: I don't care if anybody even wants the str when it's finished. I just wanted to know how this stuff happens. And man this ep sucks even more when I'm watching it pausing every so often to write the translation.

Alright. The translation and srt are ready. I'll attached it here as an attachment. Provided the attachment works, it should be available to whoever wants to understand this ova without Finnish skills.

It's decent English, but without any personifications. So, they are just robotic translations with no regard to how the characters would actually talk, for example in DB subs. No way I would have gone through that much trouble...

To play the avi with subs, you need to load them in your player, unless it automatically loads them from the same directory. That being said, unzip the file into the same folder with the avi. The file name, with the exception of the file name extension, might need to be identical (and it should be already) to the avi. MediaPlayer Classic needs to be set in renderless output in order to show subtitles. Pay attention to that, although the player will tell you as much if you try it with wrong settings.

(The srt file name does contain the word "finnish" but that's only because it needs the same file name as the avi. The stuff inside is English.)

If you have any other questions, ask Ciber, Wilik, or the complich8. Har har...
