I have to agree, the first episode was very nice. Plenty of action, enough of the story to generate interest but not overwhelming, and the charaters were well done also. I can't wait for episode 2.Originally Posted by Death13a
Everything Apraxhren said. This series seems like it will be quite interesting. I have a feeling we might get to see the story from several different points of view equally instead of just following the main charachter around, which would be very entertaining, but it could be that I'm just prjecting the open endedness of the first episode too far. Can't wait to see more.

I'll give this series a try after I finish catching up to Utawarerumono.
Cool - another great anime series starting, looks like a few things are begining to take over from the many other cool series which ended in the last while.
Just watched the first two episodes, I think Bud's prediction of similarities to Bebop is fair accurate (although not seeming much like Solty Rei yet, anyway).
Basic overview of this would be, corrupt politicians, corrupt police, guild of criminals, and then a few renegade good cops, and 'Coyotes' (suppose closest could compare them to be would be Black Lagoon-style good guys...).
Hard to say this early on how it will develop, but looks like a fun/entertaining series - lots of guns 'n drink.
first episode was pretty interesting. Getting a little tired of seeing super moe cute girls placed in the role of heartless killing machines though... The investigator and the policewoman seem to be tolerable characters, although I'm more interested in the criminals.
I still need to watch the second episode but I really don't know what people are comparing this show to Bebop for. No bounty hunters, main character is a friggin federal agent and I've yet to see anything involving martial arts or dog-fight space combat yet. Not to mention the difference in the sound track.
Again though, judging all this from the first episode is a little much. I like the "space outlaw" genres quite a bit though, and will casually pick this show up.
Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".
Episode 2 was a fairly nice episode, at first Super Soul seemed fairly stupid and cliché and he still may be but I am starting to enjoy his character. The ED was great in terms of the animation or lack of; it may be my favorite part so far.
@Masamuneehs: I think the comparisons to Cowboy Bebop are more about the feel of the anime. They both exist in a virtually lawless world with corrupt governments/police. That is about all they share but they feel similar in the way they approach the story. I have heard people compare the plot to a Lupin the third like, it is almost as if they took Lupin the third and put it in the Cowboy Bebop world. Either way this looks to be a really entertaining anime.
Damn - was going to mention the ED, and completely forgot to - this was indeed excellently done, reminded me of so many childhood programmes (albeit the theme slightly differed in this).
The whole style to the animation, and semi-cheap look to it, very much like a lot of mid 80s stuff I used to watch.
Also had a 'cheers' feel to it I suppose.
This show looks like it'll be entertaining. It reminds me more of Outlaw Star than Bebop, as there is a sepcific goal involved, but It'll all come down to the story and how well it's told for me.
Also, did anyone else notice some occasional choppiness in the video? I'm not sure if it was my over taxed comp, something wrong with my dl, or something wrong with the release in general.
