From what I have heard, fansub groups get their raws often using other means than torrents, like emule or some other programs the people in Japan prefer. Of course I have no ties to fansub groups, so this is only hearsay. Well, the bottom line is that raws on torrent trackers might not indicate the real situation for fansubbers. Even if there were no raw torrents around, the groups would get their source material via those other preferred means.Originally Posted by kimbap629

I liked the opening, I think the song will grow on me and the sparring part looked cool.

o.O, I loved that sparring part. Haha, I showed my friend the opening and he kept saying, waohh, Naruto looks like the 4th in the opening.
Anyhow, the opening is different from all the other ones, but i like it =D, Anyone know what number is this new ending so I can look it up?

Anyway, too bad about the RAW, I wonder what happened to whoever they usually get their raws from. Anyway, while entertaining it's foolish to try and come up with explanations of why the fillers should end, since they probably won't end. I would love to be wrong, but when I look back at all the other times the fillers were 'definately' ending I can't help but feel jaded about the whole situation. Mabye the 90 min filler will have Jiraya in it and something useful will actually happen that nudges the plot toward the actual story.
Yeah, that's a very good question, since you would think the quality of the TV transmission is always the same, so the quality of the raw should depend solely on the person recording and encoding it. The raw being bad can only be either recording an analog transmission (do they have those in Japan anymore?) or trying to encode the 90 mins to take much less space than three normal episodes would take.
Well, anyway, Saiyaman seems to have a 557 MB raw out, which would at least eliminate the latter source of quality loss. Let's hope this is indicating a difference.
I just hope your right Yukimura about that 90 min special going back to the actual story.

Yeah, the song is blowful. But I pray to all the gods in the anime pantheon that the training sparring scenes are representative of the training Naruto does during the 3 year skip. Thus, indicating that we're actually gonna HAVE the skip this season.
