I'm pretty sure it is well known that boxing is a more exciting and at times more brutal sport than MMA for the simple reason that boxing has no submissions. The only way to submit an opponent in boxing is through knockout, or technical knockout (cuts, corner stops fight etc.) In MMA, submissions are the fastest and most efficient way to win a match, which is why usually the match is composed of two men rolling around on the ground trying to get a stoppage. Boxing is composed of two men trying to damage their opponent only through strikes to the head and body until they cannot fight any longer. Of course if you think two men rolling around on the ground is exciting, then MMA will be more interesting and exciting for you. I think boxing is the more honorable sport.
