So we finally are starting the final battles, next episode should be great with the grandpa taking on the first Ryozanpaku disciple.
I'm kinda pissed that Miu is not taking part on these fights.

Damn that was fantastic. Tanimoto and Berserker were both amazing so of course their fight was epic as well, but Tanimoto's crazy eyes were a little bit crazier and I think that's what gave him the edge he needed. That and his Action Kung Fu grip.
Even if it looked like a close fight, it really wasnt. Tanimoto simply owned berserker, since weve seen Tanimoto's incredible resolve. A close fight would have been Hermit getting knocked down to the point that he cant stand up, but does so and wins the fight (much like Kenichi in his fight with Hermit). But this time, he even tags out to Kenichi as if he was fighting some goon.
Peace.
Umai-Doremi said they released 48, do you believe them?
Yeah, that tag out was pretty disrespectful. Hermit basically said, "Done and done" and dusted off his boots on Berserker's face. Easily my favorite character now. Now if only I could draw him...in Paint...Originally Posted by shinta|hikari

Damnit, I need 49 now... I was cracking up at the episode preview with Kenichi mimicking the masters' voices, especially when he was doing Shigure.
holy crap ep 47 was so awesome, i was smiling out of the pure awesomeness going on on screen, hermit ftw.
*gets 48*
Yeah, the slow, stuttery thing was hilarious.Originally Posted by Munsu

One thing I was wondering about: why exactly would Odin be better at fighting without his glasses? The explanation makes some sense, but then again, shouldn't he have just used his third eye the entire time? If the idea is that his natural sight would disrupt his inner sight then perhaps that makes more sense. But then again, he could have just closed his eyes and fought, which would theoretically make him even more powerful since he can't see now anyway.
And a question: would it be considered a spoiler if I posted a fan-art of Kisara wearing her Fist gloves? It wasn't until episode 19 that she actually became the Valkyrie, but it wasn't as big a plot point as, say, the identity of Mr. Not-so Tough-to-figure-out-o. I'd done pics of the last three Fists, but they're all wearing the gloves, so I don't want to get in trouble.
It would make sense if he was approximately. After all, wasn't Ma's brother as well, and he's Hermit's master.
Well, Ma's brother was just that, his brother, not his disciple, saint of fists was a disciple of ryouzanpaku.
Is it me, or did DoReMi Fansubs just got owned?

Apparently within the last 24 hours someone who had FTP access to our servers placed index.html files in all our main directories. Saying we were suspended for violating terms of service. This was not true.
We are not violating terms of service, the party van is not coming to get us, or you, and we are still alive and kicking.
I have changed the ftp password so now only mike and myself have access to it. We will be keeping it to us two from this point forward. I apologize for any inconvience.
Heh. Nice. Good thing the shadowy saboteur just played a little joke and did nothing worse.

OMG...hotness. I'll post more later, but wow. I really enjoyed this episode.
Okay, I knew that Odin would block the Zero Stance attack, but that doesn't mean it makes any more sense. Kenichi's hand was right there on his shirt, there's no conceivable way Odin could have blocked that fast enough. However all was made up for with overflowing greatness when Kenichi started channeling the masters, especially Sakaki and Akisame. That was just beautiful.
I liked the Appachai version the best. Followed with the Shigure one, just to see the reaction she had when it came out.
I have to say that Akisame and Shigure were my faves. That part when he said "Descending Flay Cut-ter" was just too good. I needed to hear him say something slowly, and that worked oh so well. And her glee at being channeled was awesome.
Niijima's Domino beam was so great too. The fact that Siegfried thought it was purposeful was even better.
Yikes though, Odin now also has the power to heal himself and hulk up? And is Miu going to be involved in any fights at all at this point? Come to think of it, where the heck is Kisara? Is she all alone at Ryozanpaku?
Anyway, awesome episode. I was wondering if they were going to use the original mixed intro song at any point. Not that I don't like the version that they have in, but the original is <paris>so hot.</paris> Looking forward to the 50th episode!
I have to say, Sigure's response to the imitation was/is probably the most adorable thing I have seen in a long time.
