So DeathBoo, here's another of my stupid questions. Out of curiosity, does the Israeli army give everyone doughnuts or anything like that on Chanukah? It starts at sunset tomorrow, right?

we get obligatory symbolic 'Sufganiot' (Hannuka doughnuts), the quality varies from the shitty civilian made ones (that are fairly good, everything included) to the ones that the cooks make (that are usually weird, and I mean really weird)...

it's the same with "Purim" (jewish halloween, for lack of better term), we get the symbolic food of the holyday, though usually in a toned down version of it...

as for when it starts... I've got no idea, i'll check the newspaper tommrow and maybe it'll be wrriten there...I don't keep in touch with the holyday usually (or with local news, at the same matter).

8. Actually, no. I'm still out of pants. I don't remember getting a new pair since then.

1. Pants - it's not really my top priority, but Im pushing it up becuase two years without a new pair is kinda sad...
2. A girlfriend - A real first priority, but not one of those 'GF in a plastic bag'. so it isn't really a gift, just some desperation talking.
3. Better shows on TV. I'm getting tired of american Idol, hell, I never liked it.
4. The new Harry potter in hebrew. I want to finish the series already.


I think i'm reaching nirvana, I'm losing all craving for earthly pleasures, either that or I'm just giving up on life. same thing.
