ooo... can't believe I forgot to consider L and Light for best male character... Think i'd probably have to change my answer. Even though I like L much more than Light, Light is probably the one I'd give it to...
and i'd forgotten just how silly that fan-made Haruhi ED is...

I would've thought that some of the characters in Juuousei and in The Third might have had some mentions.
I like a lot of shit, so can't really much about the categories... But for most overrated anime I would put Black Cat. What a piece of shit anime, and many people like it. At least Fate/stay night was good.
As for OP, the Black Lagoon is pretty bad if you ask me. I really like the Ergo Proxy OP, it's powerful and sets up the atmosphere greatly in the anime. I also liked the Shana one and the one in The Third a lot.
And I thought Hakuoro's VA sucked by the way.
