Manga: Akumetsu

Yeah I been following this manga and its awesome. The main character is just really cool and badass for me and the plot is pretty good. This is a nice kind of political manga with some great violence and just one cool main character.

Nice chapters as always, but not much happened. They were like setup chapters for the next arc. I wonder what the video is all about.

It's a bit awkward, but likeable and a bit gorey. The art is quite unique. The main character is pretty unique and what not. I'd love to see more development though.

It's 18 volumes long, so there's no doubt that there will be some development... just in the recent chapter it seemed like we're heading in that direction.

Even though it has been fun so far, I think Akumetsu needs some sort of rival that can exploit any weakness he may have. I also liked how he introduced himself to the father as his daughter's boy friend.

We got some real development in this chapter, with Shou talking about his past and mentions how he came to be who he is. More information and details are needed, but he at the least makes mention of the broad aspect of it.

Anyways, this group needs to step it up... 18+ volumes to do, and 1 chapter every 5 months or so is not cutting it.

Just read up to chapter 59... they've been releasing the series in a very consistent manner as of late, which is nice.

I think the latest arc has been very interesting, with the copy cat killers, the special investigator, and more importantly the fake Akumetsu. I also like how they've been more detailed in showing us how the various Shou's interact with one another. With the focus on the current Shou, I wonder if we'll simply shift from one Shou to another in the various arcs, and I wonder if we'll ever go back and see more of the one we had seen the opening arcs with that chick that was in love with him, Shiina I think was her name.
