Maybe it's their way of getting rid of all fansubs (before they get on with the good stuff), :-P
But seriously, this new arc is pretty decent. The arc with the three brothers was pretty good, too (though, the ending was extremely cheesy).

For example, the the way the princess was talking (I don't remember if she was a princess or not, don't really care) was irritating me the entire arc. Her stubbornness and arrogance was too annoying for me to handle.
And other small things like when the camp got attacked, and naruto and the flower ninja were talking.
Flower nin: My brother was always better than me :'(
Naruto: Your brother lost to this water ninja!
Flower nin: Oh yeah! So if I beat this ninja, I can be better than my brother!
....No more mourning over your recently murdered brother?
Not even mentioning that the ending was horrible too...
And just lots of other little things that add together and just ruin the arc.
I have learned to ignore or come up with a beleivable reason for any flaws in what I watch. But yeh, that kind of stuff was annoying... The ending was the worst, though.
All the same, a half-decent arc is better than a haunted house filler... or that ninja-cook filler.
Lol, I almost hate to admit this. But enjoy reading and observing the people that follow Naruto the anime, more than I actually enjoy watching the fillers. You all watch them whether you dislike them or not. I guess you all still have a small glimmer of hope that someday that they will return to the main storyline whether you want to admit it or not.
After reading a few of these comments it actually convinced me to start watching once more, and it have given me a new point of view to look at the series from. Though I must admit that I only watch them when I am throughly bored. Your discussions, arguments, disdain and hope is really something to marvel at.
Long live the fans of Naruto, the show may suck, but the fans are definately interesting.

When I first started watching naruto I was worried that I wouldnt be able to catch up with the series before fillers ended but here I am cought up with the anime and still fillers...
I guess I will catch up on FMA/Bleach

I just read in another page related with naruto (maybe not the most serius web) that fillers will come to an end in the chapter 204!
I thought that it would end in the chapter 200 but 204 is fine with me, just make them end! I need some confirmation from a more valid source.
