Instead, you'd need to think of standards in terms of storyline, animation, character development, editing, all that stuff Niner was doing. With that said and to get back on topic, this episode had a lot going for it. Love any screentime Yoruichi and Urahara have to show off their skills and since I had avoided most of the filler, I can't really compare animation from then and now. Whenever characters like Ichigo get all ponder-y and introverted it leaves me impatient. "Get over it and fight the good fight, dumbass!" is what I tend to think![]()
