Anyways, this really looks sweet. It's apparently based on some PS2 game, and it seems to me that this may be this season's Utawarerumono. Got to love elven chicks.

The Utawarerumono reference is indeed understandable when looking at the video. Looks good also otherwise. It should offer plenty of interesting characters as well.

But the music will have hard time beating Utawarerumono's score.

I don't know, the OP was pretty nice... The song started mellow and peaceful and I liked how the song kept building up to the action towards the later half of the OP, I thought the animation complimented it quite nicely.

Now, I'm pretty sure this is the OP for the PS2 game in Japan. Seems odd to me that it would be 3 minutes long.

I already played this game, and it was like an rpg/harem game, so Utawarerumono comparisons are quite justified I believe. I just dont know which ending they will use, since the game actually had multiple ones.

Yeah I've played it too... Wasn't that great but the drawings were nice... But is this anime following the games story? So far it looks like it's suppose to be a sequel to the game or something.

Anyways... Just finished the first episode and it seems a bit weird so far. Hopefully the next few episodes clear things up.... The animation seemed ok to me... I don't know why some people are complaining so much.
