Entertaining game at the least. I thought this would be a very telling game for Matsuzaka. His previous three outings were against suspect teams, KC having a poor offense, Seattle playing in only their 4th game, and Toronto a strike out prone team. With the Yankees striking out very rarely and possessing a great offense I was quite impressed with his outing. Despite giving up 6 he didn't give up any big innings, only 1 crooked number, and struck out 7. His only real problem seemed to be pitching from the stretch which had be noted in his previous starts, once he gets used to it he will be good. Speaking of Japanese pitching Hideki Okajima really took a step back, his scouting report out of Japan was mostly about his inconsistency, it will be interesting to watch as he seems to be a major player in the bullpen.
