I didn't derail it, and it wasn't irrelevant. The article is trying to take the moral high ground and say that Japan has fewer sexual crimes than Sweden, which is not true at all.

Your question is based on a false premise, but obviously sexual crimes are worse than pornography. Now if you take that answer and somehow interpret that Sweden has more problems than Japan when it comes to sexual crimes, then you're ignoring the reality of the situation.

That is one of the worst written and most ridiculously biased articles I've seen this side of Fox News or Feministing.com. It's sarcastic quotes around "child exploitation" and finger-pointing at Sweden are pathetic justifications for the behavior they're condoning. Get a grip.

Haha. Xan taking Sankaku's "news" seriously is even more funny than the way those articles are always written over there. The site lives for perverted stuff, 99% concentrated on stuff from Japan, so what kind of a bias did you fail to expect them to have? Anything else than an article like that would be about as likely as an Italian TV station criticizing Berlusconi or a Russian journalist living for a year after revealing something shocking about the Russian government.

Honestly I wouldn't take it seriously if it was clearly written as a joke. My problem is that the writer and the comments (and apparently darkshadow) actually believe the bullshit they are saying. I think it's quite sad.
