That's what I got from it. I think they're being a little defensive since all they can do to contribute to the situation in Boston is post about it on the forums, and maybe on facebook.

@Ryll: you sound like so many people who have this misguided notion about what/who the police are and what kinds of people join the police. It's the same bs that will lead you to castigate and revile police officers who mess up, never mind that they are just humans working under a lot of stress, sometimes life and death.
