    How would it make perfect sense? It makes as much sense saying the akatsuki leader is from a differen hidden village.

    Besides... There's already 2 akatsuki from Konoha... Itachi and Orochimaru who is no longer in akatsuki.

    I was checking the date this was posted in hope of it being an old post from 2004 or so when this theory started being popular.

    Alas it was not so and I am forced to say "welcome to 3 years ago", followed by a "if the 4th hokage is the leader it will be the worst plot twist ever".
