Because Multiple Sclerosis does that....The brain of a person with MS often responds less actively to stimulation of the optic nerve and sensory nerves.

it would be unfair to ask them to look past their emotions so you can shorthand two words

Because him shortening two words into abbreviations which happen to have a bad connotation in your opinion means he has to cater it so it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings on an internet forum?
If you want people to stop using MS as an abbreviation, maybe you should have implied it a bit more politely rather than trying to be a smartass? Hmm....?
And like Animus said, because it affects one or 2 people out of many, I'm not going to cater to you. Yes I am too lazy to type out mangekyou sharingan.
Maybe you should psychologically re-work your mind so when you see MS on this forum it means Mangekyou Sharingan and not Multiple Sclerosis.
I've seen close ones to be pass away... Maybe the world should stop making movies/shows with people dying because everytime I see it, it makes me think about my lost ones.

Personally, I haven't shortened Mangekyou Sharingan once in this thread, but I still think you're making a deal of this. I know someone with TB, but every time I see that acronym, I don't start telling people not to use it. You're being a bit too sensitive about this, especially since "MS" is a pretty legitimate shortcut to writing out a particularly long foreign word. You sound like the Mizuki quote in Assertn's sig, dude...

I agree it works in this context as well. He either said it literally to taunt Itachi, or he was hinting at something not yet revealed to the viewers. What that could be though, I guess we'll find out. In any case, I still don't buy that Itachi's afraid of him having Mangekyou Sharingan.I kinda assumed Kakashi's "how bad has your eyesight become" question was metaphorical, as a way to reveal that Itachi has neglected to notice something.
Yes, but he's not deducing the effect of Mangekyou based on his experiences with his own Sharingan. He figured them out for the reasons he stated in the episode. He could have been dead wrong, but Itachi's reaction clarified this reasoning.
