Only Pit today. Not exactly dissapointe, but I was hoping for two characters, as the first update.

Pit looks like the kind of character I'll end up using - nimble and not-so-strong but able to connect lots of hits and run the hell away before being hit back.

'Sides, the idea of a bow that transforms into two knives is just too pretty.

But then again, after seeing Link's special attack (back in the trailer), the Triforce Cut might just be too much for my fangirl brain to resist....

The trajectory of Pit's arrows can be controlled. That seems to be like Ness's PK Thunder. I wonder how much knockback power it will have. His arrow might be the new shine spike.

I recall there being talk of them including Baby Bowser and the Link from Windwaker. I guess that kinda counts as "Young Link".

I imagined it being like Link's arrows, controlled by the amount of time you hold down B for. I've never played Kid Icarus though, so I don't know if Pit could actually "control" his arrows or not.

    How do you figure?

Depending on the knockback power and/or blockstun it could be effectively used to prevent characters returning to the stage, but that would be super broken . I dunno, I guess I'm really excited.

I imagine they'd work more like Zelda's attack in Melee than Ness's PK bursts. Her small fireball moved on a very definite forward path, but you could control it to a limited extent. Pit is shooting arrows after all. You couldn't control much of anything in Kid Icarus, it was a NES title. This is the first time Pit has ever reappeared.

I hope Zelda is still in the game. I never liked the Shiek side much, but Zelda had some very useful attacks if you got the timing and aiming (of the little fireball) just right.

I sleep easy at night when people call me a "tier whore" for using Sheik, because 75% of the time, I can beat them using Zelda too. Her areal back-kick is fucking deadly. I just practice SHFFLing with that move because of how useful it is. So yeah, I really hope they keep Zelda.

I don't see why they wouldn't keep any previous characters though. There's going to be around 40 in total, so I assume all of the old guys are gonna still be there.
