I think everyone needs to experience Boku no Piko. It changed my life.

the only currently airing shows that I'm watching that I really recommend are:

Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei (link in my sig)
A comedy about a suicidal teacher and his class full of crazy students. It's very fast and sometimes dark humor, and lots of quick references on the side to other anime and Japanese culture.

    Bokurano
Giant mecha meets "slice of life" meets tragedy. It's really a story about a group of children and their lives and convictions. Not big on action, it's a rather dark and sometimes depressing show that focuses on weaving a bunch of smaller stories into a larger, all-encompassing fight for survival.

    Claymore
    It's the bomb, trust me.

    Mononoke
only two episodes out, it's a classical horror show with a very different art style. Miscellaneous demons and ghosts and hunting of.

can't think of many more that are currently airing that I'd recommend right now. I know people like Nodame Cantabile and Kenichi, but I haven't seen them.

Humans are different from animals. We must die for a reason. Now is the time for us to regulate ourselves and reclaim our dignity. The one who holds endless potential and displays his strength and kindness to the world. Only mankind has God, a power that allows us to go above and beyond what we are now, a God that we call "possibility".

Haha, whoa, there's a lot there. My monthly download quota's not very generous, so I can only manage a couple of shows every week. I'm mainly looking to some that are airing soon or recently aired to fill in the ones that are ending soon, or in a while.

Currently watching: Claymore (yeah, I agree 100%, it's the bomb. ), Darker than Black (that too), Galaxy Railways II, Devil May Cry, El Cazador, Kyou Kara Maou and Naruto Shippuuden. (can't say the same for this one, just tagging along with flickering hopes for the future.)

Brunor10 try out Hunter X Hunter since you like shounen series' since it's one of the best and also Yu Yu Hakusho.

Power without perception is virtually useless!

YuYu Hakusho is good up til the Sensui arc. After that, it goes shit, so maybe you can just not watch that part.
