Q:what is your favorite cake?
Number of works of fiction that made me shed at least one tear: 3Thou seeketh soul power, dost thou not?TOX: 33524385841A92B08787EEBEBA2DB51ED293C4F15A2E292F3F C92165E82388281433A77EA8FE
brownies. it's the only cake we know how to make at home (my mom can bake some other cakes, but she needs to read a recipe for it, the browine cake is a natural talent).
Q: also food, thin or thick cruse pIzza?
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
A: Thin no doubt, ya gotta be able to enjoy the toppings.
Q: Have you moved away from home? And if so, do you prefer your new surroundings?
A: I've moved away from home a lot! Right now I go to school in NYC, and I have to say I prefer it from Texas for the convenience of transportation and plentiful activities..
Q: What is your favorite anime or TV show?
"Leaving hell is not the same as entering it." - Tierce Japhrimel
You're originally from Texas, Sapphire?? Which part?
A: Favorite TV show is UFC Unleashed on SpikeTV. Get to see all the old fights I missed. For dramas, I'd say Bones, though I'm catching up on TNT after not watching for 3.5 years.
Q: Do you prefer cats or dogs?
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
A: for eating or pets? ok - i prefer dogs as companions.
Q: Have you played any collectable card game? which one if you did?

A: Yu Gi Oh. I bought a Kaiba starter deck and kicked (my brother and my neighbours') ass with it and it only. The special cards tend to bend though, since they're printed on foil + backing paper, and makes it really easy for your opponent to shuffle the deck so the card (Blue Eyes White Dragon in my case) sits on the bottom. We ended up settling with the rule of shuffling without looking.
I also collected pokemon cards, but only made up rules to play them with since I didn't really understand complex rules back then.
Q: Was there a time you felt like a total failure in your life? If so, care to share a bit about it? If not, what would you perceive, or expect, yourself to be a failure at in the future?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
It has happened a few times, but I am a strange person that tends to agonize over even the smallest mistakes and make them into colossal failures. One thing that made me feel like in such a way was breaking up with a gf that I had been with for a while (even though I knew it was not going to work out unless something drastic happened). It felt like I was a quitter and that the failure of the relationship was totally my fault (it was not).
Q: What was the last thing you cooked?
Stuffed Hamburgers.
I was trying out a mixture of mushrooms, diced onions and pepperjack. It turned out quite well, much better than what i was expecting.
Q: Has your opinion of someone ever drastically changed because of something he or she did?
A: Yes. I thought this girl was frivolous and pointless and devoid of worth. Then she said "no one likes Koreans except other Koreans." Now I think she's the greatest person in the world, for other reasons besides though.
Q: Is there something you support but are ashamed to admit it? Like eugenics, genocide, racial segregation, homophobia, etc.
A: i think until now, i was never ashamed admitting that i have supported something. because as far as i could remember, i support things that are worth supporting though. hehe. at most.![]()
Q: have you tried watching/reading a yuri/yaoi anime/manga?why and why not?if yes how do you feel after doing so?
A: No
Q: Fucking magnets, how do they work?
A: Long story short - at sub-atomic level you can find electrons that move - this movement is enough to generate changes in electric field, which in turn generates magnetic field. Magnets are made from materials that naturally have vectors of those field aligned together so its field is stronger, we call those Ferromagnetic materials, while Diamagnetic materials have its small fields arranged randomly so a lot of them negate each other and their field is just too weak to work as magnet.
Attraction and repulsion is just property of field and its vectors - like with electrostatic.
Q: if you could get a neural link and cyberbrain - GitS style - would you get it? why(or why not)?

A: I like the idea, but after taking some biology courses, namely Biomaterials and Biofluids, I've learned just what a train wreck it is to try to mess with the balance of things in the body. Even simple prosthetics turn out to be ridiculously complicated to implement because they fail so easily. In the end, nothing we create even comes close to measuring up to the innate properties of the human body. We think our technology is so advanced, and it is, but compared to biology we're still just beginner level. The more I learn about bioengineering, the more I hope I never have to have any of these things implemented on me.
Q: Who is a relative of yours that you admire the most and why? How have they impacted your life?
A: i don't admire any of them. hehehe
Q: what is having a girlfriend/boyfriend to you?
A: To be honest I don't really know. They should be someone you like (sexually + other), feel attracted to, admire some (if not all) of their attributes, and someone you like the company of. During the boy/girlfriend phase you work out their faults, see how far you can go for their sake, and see if you're both happy with the results.
Q: How do you keep track of your spending? Do you budget? Do you draw a set amount of cash from your bank every week etc and monitor your wallet to keep track of your spending? if you don't "keep track", why do you think that is? Simply don't spend enough? Or work too hard and long to find time to spend money? (Note: answering the first question will do.)
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
I'm generally aware of my bank account balance at all times. I'm pretty good when it comes to managing money, good thing i decided to roll with that and went into accounting. I usually try to keep a budget and the amount really depends on when i expect to get more money in. It's generally flexible since i give myself a broad goal like "have x by the end of the month" so if i spend too much one week, i try to cut back the next one. I find that it's better to give yourself an "amount left" goal rather than a "spending goal" because you can easily fall into the trap of thinking something like "I can spend up to X so it should be ok if i buy this". If you approach it with the mind set that you want a certain amount left, you're always aware of how much your money is decreasing by and that'll lead to better buying habits.
Q: Do you have any bad habits that you're aware of? If so, would you like to be rid of it? or is the habit something that makes you who you are?
A: i don't know if this is bad enough but i have a habit of procrastination and taking chances/risks and saying "come what may". and yeah, sometimes, i do want to get rid of it, but i think there are some positive outputs that had and may occur because i have such a habit.
Q: are you guilty of stereo-typing? If yes, do you feel ashamed/guilty? or it's something that you enjoy to do so?
A) Yes, for now, my main stereotypes are pre-medical students/aspirational doctors under science majors as some of the most neurotic and secretly psychotic people I know.
If they could secretly sabotage someone's experiments to improve their chances of getting into medical school, they would. They would lie on their experimental results and cheat the integrity of science by conjuring up imaginary "accurate" data so that they can score higher in their lab reports. They also are arrogant, claim themselves to be "altruistic" (even though we know that's not true), are trying to be medical specialists instead of family physicians/general practioners (which is what society really needs right now) and eventually, most of them will have terrible relationships with patients.
I enjoy doing stereotyping these people because 90% of the time, it's true.
Q) How do you feel about homeless or handicapped people who can barely support themselves? What is your approach to this societal societal problem and how would you do it in a way that would not imbalance a Democratic (liberal) society?

A: I'm not too sure since I have little exposure to that sort of stuff, but isn't social security working for them? I was under the assumption that while the amount may not be comfortable to live with, they won't starve. I've had two people tell me they were homeless at the bottleshop that I work at. I never delved too deeply into exactly they were homeless, but they looked healthy enough on the surface anyway.Q) How do you feel about homeless or handicapped people who can barely support themselves? B: Do you think men age better than women? Is it that fat older men (to fill their wrinkling skin) is generally considered more acceptable than a fat older woman? Or is it because men in general don't look as pretty as women in their youth anyway, and therefore the aging process seems to have more of an impact on women's appearance than on men?
