I don't like how inept Manji is. He is getting beat down all the time, this time by a dude with no weapon...

It's actually quite interesting how he's no genius fighter. He has quite a lot of experience; without it he would totally suck, I'd say. His greatest strength, which he's constantly abusing, is the immortality. All the Itto-ryo people they have so far encountered have been vastly better than Manji.

I do admit, however, that even though it's interesting, it's also annoying.
