Right now, I've been accepted into chemical engineering with a minor/specialization in Energy and the Environment. The workload for chemical engineering at my school is relatively low compared to the more rigorous mechanical engineering program here. I may drop my minor/specialization if things get too heated, but it's very unlikely because I have a strong interest in green technology and efficiency. If all else goes wrong with my studies, I can try switch to a different engineering major (probably civil or mechanical) if I really don't like chemical engineering, but that's unlikely as well.
