The fanservice is quite good.
. As for the plot, it's yet to come. Don't expect anything with twists and cliffhangers, but if you have 12/13 episodes to spare, this show does entertain you enough.
For those confused with all the naming and everything, this show is set in ancient China. Back then, people had two names, your birth name (名, that your parents chose), and your chosen name (字, chosen when you become of age). Normally, you introduce yourself under and are known as your chosen name. Birth names are known by those close to you. You can then shorten that to something like Rin Rin/Ling Ling. If you had to find a Jap equivalent, it would be closest to Rin/Ling-chan.
