The Gotwoot Awards

I think there should be a "Best Thread of 2008" award, given to the starter of a thread that was an original idea, and begun in 2008.

Also, I'd like to see an award which incorporates irc, since the irc channel is a small but active part of GotWoot. Either an irc-specific award for someone who idles in the channel, or an award voted on by the denizens of the channel to bestow upon an unsuspecting member of the forum.

I think there are some other viable contenders in this category. How quickly everyone has forgotten the pictures of Terra and PSJ making out.
