They don't mind at all. The only time they mind is when they're eating and I take a picture of them stuffing their faces off. They'll get used to it sooner or later.Originally Posted by animus

Sorry it's not hi-def.
May I ask: what is that? It looks like rice with meat fillings.

That's sushi. The filling's wrapped in kelp, then rice, and sprinkled with black sesame(? - not sure about that last one).Originally Posted by Nadouku

Actually the orangish color is salmon. We had salmon, tuna(cooked) and crab w\ cucumber, cream cheese, and celery. My wife and I ate them all : )
I'm not big on questionable sushi. we went to this sushi place one time and some of them were in a cone, like an ice cream cone lol.... we were like, um... how do you eat this?
They seem to be the new fad of sushi going around. Too bad they haven't hit here yet though. I wanted to give them a try after I saw them on TV.

So many people eat classy food like sushi all the time according to this thread...

i bought this oscar meyer ham at the store last week because it was on sale... it tastes like bologna.
Was half an hour late for a lecture this morning, so I sat down for Subway Breakfast instead.
Foot-long Sub: Parmesan&Oregano bread(Toasted) / Steak&Egg + Mozzarella / Tomato & Onion / Avocado / Sweet Onion sauce.
Would have taken a picture, but eating it took priority. Tasty![]()

What constitutes a quick, homemade lunch for me is a package of pot-boiled ramen with a side of sunnyside-up eggs fried in sesame oil.
I tried out this new brand of ramen: Nong Shim's Shin Ramyun. The first bite was a delight. The broth had a great taste with a substantial kick, while I was amazed by how packaged noodles could achieve that perfect level of tenderness.
The conclusion? The rest of the pot continually scalded my tongue and throat, even though it was well cooled. The next few hours were spent experiencing a mass of blazing hellfire boil through my stomach lining and finally re-tasting it through my ass as the flavor left the system. But hey, the noodles were delicious.

Is that the Korean one that's in red&black packaging, with some writing/designs in yellow&white? The noodles, if I remember correctly, come in a bit circular slab aye?Originally Posted by bagandscalpel
They are indeed quite hotAnd yummy. The flavour's not that special, but the "bounciness" of the noodles if they're cooked right is of pretty high quality.

When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. organic nuts.
also, back to the korean noodles. I think the neoguri ones are better.
No pictures this time, but I managed to grab some of that "Cake de Princesse" from my local bakery shop. Vanilla and strawberry outlining is all I can say for this delicious delicacy. It was used to celebrate my mom's birthday.

The Black Bean Brownies I made this morning. It's kind of a strange taste at first, but they are ultra-rich. One is almost too much without a glass of milk.
No flour in them at all, and it uses agave nectar instead of sugar.
Recipe if you want to try them out (provided you can find the agave nectar).
