I'm starting to learn more about cooking, although I still don't like it very much. I'll take an oven over a stove any day. And speaking of baking, I whipped up some pumpkin pie last night. Only took me about 5 minutes to make, and then about a half hour of baking time. I usually guesstimate the measurements of my ingredients rather than hunting around to find my measuring cups.

I didn't take pictures, but I'll give you guys the recipe!

2 eggs
2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cups cooked pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cereal cream or evaporated milk

Combine all ingredients in the blender. Makes enough for one pie. Pour into pie shell and bake at 450 for 10 minutes, and turn heat down to 350 and bake until filling is set.

I substituted acorn squash for the pumpkin (as a side note, a lot of the time squash makes a tastier pumpkin pie than actual pumpkin) and substituted buttermilk instead of milk, and it was great.
