All of this due to multiple errors in treatment... and diagnosis too. I was treated for something I didn't have, and not treated for the real problem that was getting worse by the day. And as an added bonus, the treatment was also amplifying the real problem...
A year of hell on earth, and 5 years from then I'm still not totally recovered...
Ah this sounds like me only it was for about 4 years. Anyway seeing as I have "every illness known to man" I won't go into to it.

Hydrocodone huh. Opiods can be rough, unfortunately I don't really have any advice for you. Didn't they slowly reduce the dosage to wean you off it because quitting cold turkey from such a high dosage sounds like you're just asking for trouble.

Are they even supervising your dosage or is it all you? Also I wouldn't recommend drinking alcohol
