What puts this press release apart from all their other "serious" ones is its sincerity. They're not acting all tough and straight-faced about why they're dropping it because of some spam mail. They're talking about dropping it on a matter of principle. By reviewing why they're subbing Naruto, they're justifying why they should stop. For that, I believe it's going to happen. Even if they don't, I believe they should, after saying all that. (bring on the neg reps)
While I'll definitely miss the archival releases, as people have said, there's bound to be a way. Being the monopoly of Naruto fansubs, it's only right that they step down the way they did.
