meh. I saw the early release of this back in december whenever it came out.

i didn't like it. I was expecting to pick it up, and I thought it looked good at first glance. but I just didn't like the episodes. I don't plan to continue watching.

    CoalGuys - Akikan! - Episode 2 -mkv

Well, it sure is silly and pretty awfully repetitive in some of its gags, but i still somehow enjoy it. It's sure not good, not by any stretch, but I find it entertains me and that's all I'll ask from it.

I find it funny that those other two kidnappers didn't do anything when Kakeru stole that gun from him. "He's just a kid, don't help me out!" I guess they got what was coming to them.

Kakeru can actually show a compassionate side from his douchey self, although it might have been just the master/servant relationship that he's experiencing at the moment.

    CoalGuys - Akikan! - Episode 03 - mkv torrent

maybe it's just me being severely tired whenever i decide to watch this show, but i'm actually liking it. it's inane and silly, but some of the perverted comments are effectively funny, and the character interaction is enjoyable. i particularly like the side characters, (Gigolo and Crazy Dyke Witch especially).

all in all, this is a fairly entertaining show for me. but after three episodes, i'm already hoping it ends fairly quickly. this has the taste of something that could ... go flat pretty quick...

I'm surprised that the episode picked up in comedy enough to make me laugh a few times. Good episode, lets see what will happen next. And... Najimi is pure love.

That show isn't stellar, but mad enough to be a bit entertaining.
Somehow the plot line is so dumb it becomes interresting... I know, kinda strange isn't it?
I wonder how they'll keep us interrested though.

Regarding the way that teenager reacts, well keep in mind that teenagers are litterally overflown with sex thoughts... Of course here he tells everything, instead of keeping it in his mind, but loliperversion aside, males tend to be sex pervs in their minds... too bad for them

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

    She's just a can. It's not rape if she's a can.

Thanks, poopdeville. Now I've got a mental image of a guy fucking a can. All I can think about is those metal edges around the opening.

This series is giving me hope for a good drama/comedy type. Aside from that, strong dedication from Yell really gave Najimi the strength to accept her. Well, Kakeru can be helpful too, I guess.

On another note, the guy who does Hidehiko Otoya's voice is Ryōtarō Okiayu, who also does the voice of Kuchiki Byakuya. That was something I learned.

i can't believe how much i'm liking this show. the premise sucks, the animation is just okay, but somehow it's fun and i'm even getting drawn in to the characters.

i really liked Yell and Najimi. it's almost terribly ironic how they both are chasing after someone who doesn't return their feelings, but remain dedicated (to a fault). Grapes and her owner are a fairly good pair too. The only ones that don't match are the main character and Melon. As I said before, I also really like the minor characters. I'm hoping Gigolo gets his own can...

all of the pervertedness somehow doesn't overload, and I think I figured out why. Most romance / fan service shows work primarily on heterosexual relationships, almost always male-pleasing. but this show has lesbians, benign (or not?) friendships, straight perverts, gay perverts, and it's keeping the sexual tension and humor varied and fresh.

I loved when Najimi was 'drunk' and the main guy was all "that doesn't hurt!" and then she whacked him good.

However, I will say this, Coalguys subs really are pretty mediocre. They get the points across, but even I can catch a lot of stuff that they're simply not putting into the translations. Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers.

Surprisingly enough I'm liking this well enough. Though it really sucks to watch this with no soda readily at hand. I have nothing against perverted main characters who actually aren't afraid of being perverted. God knows there are enough series with timid main chars surrounded by chicks. In any case Lelouch's VA is doing very good work here. The type of humour suits me fine as well.

The action hasn't been anything to drink a toast to, but I surmise it's not as big a deal as I expected or they simply are gathering enough cans first and then they will all be squished in short order.

Same. The idea of the show is so unique I can't stop watching. Sodas that turn into girls and fight each other, who thought of that really? We have a gay guy, a lesbian, and a lead who is very forward with his pervertedness. The only thing that I don't like so far, is that there is only one Steel can against two Aluminum cans. Hopefully they introduce another Steel can, to even the sides a bit.

Haha. Najimi has a wise servant: goes after the weak master instead of the servant.

If only the gay supervisor dude had in secret his own can, this would truly give FSN Extra Light vibes...

Depressing episode for Najimi. Kakeru still could have time to go with her, instead of searching for the other Akikan, but his wackiness kicks in and he just denies her like that, after she spent all the time daydreaming and coming up with a successful date plan, now torn to shreds because of his idiocies.

He may also be uninterrested by the girl date/love wise.
And it's not because he was blushing in the shower scene that he is interrested in her.
We'll see what happens next. That Yell sure is killing machine, I'm pretty sure Najimi doesn't want to kill kakeru, but she didn't even care controlling what those magical can girls were up to... so basically the killing intent was latent.

Yea, I can't expect Kakeru to show some dedication or even the slightest hint of romance towards Najimi, but I did expect him to go out with her and have a good time. I have no idea if he's even interested in her, since he's pretty perverse about all the girls that ever got close to him. But, you're right, Najimi definitely didn't want Kakeru to be killed, so we'll see what happens in the next episode.
