Why did Maian turn into such a weakling all of a sudden?

Well, I spent yesterday re-reading the first chapters and then catching up. Really enjoying this series, looking forward to more. I'd like to see more of Felix's brother though.
During a portion of the jump forward I was thinking that somehow Felix got merged with all the Knight Regis, but now I don't think that's the case.
I think they were all scattered across the world or something and Felix just got lucky that he was with that girl ( forgot her name )
They must have cut his balls during the boat trip. Poor chap. But there doesn't really seem to be anything left of how he was still a few chapters away. I don't see how he's going to reclaim the artifacts if he's being amazed to the point of having his mouth hanging open in front of a few monsters.Originally Posted by shinta|hikari
From what I understand Kaisers are the strongest monsters out there. Almost godly themselves. He was about to kill them until Lin begged him not to.
