Sometimes I prefer 2D, but for those I like, 3D is clearly better even though these are 2D pics >.<

Yep, some of those 2D pics just didn't compare to their 3D counterparts, but the 2D > 3D rule does hold most of the time.

(eg, I preferred 3D Lightning - but probably because the drawing wasn't very good. If they had used one that looked more like a FFXIII screenshot though ..)
