In the beginning, I really liked that the two girls laughed the whole thing off, but then they started going against their better judgment based on obviously incomplete information. They didn't even let Sawako finish her sentence (twice)!? If the plot didn't require such a stupid event from happening it really should have been impossible.

yeah, thast exactly how I felt. I hate when shows use this type of frustrating plot development. but then, this is shoujo... <.<.
