Forgot to mention that I finished this last week, in all I really loved this series. It was surprisingly violent as heck, and I loved all of it. Some nice characters, a good enough plot to keep me engaged waiting for the next massacre at it was. The seeming abrupt twists towards the end diminished it a bit, but mostly because of pacing and lack of sequels to keep the story going.

Doubtful that we get more content animated, but I'd be ecstatic if it did. Really really enjoyed this one.

I've never read LNs, but might give the translations a try at some point.
