As a rule, i never expects for these apocalyptic/survival series to have a great ending. The authors are usually trying to be way too clever with the plot and it usually requires several leap in logic to accept a proposed storyline.
It's pretty much what happened here. As long as i don't nitpick too much, i can accept the timeline presented in the last 2 chapters. This ending has a very cancelled vibe rather than an actual ending planned by the author, but he set the ending up with room for a sequel and there's certainly enough contents for it.
