I'd consider foreplay a must unless there are extenuating circumstances and a quickie is specifically sought. One of the things that can really throw me off my game is a girl who defaults to jumping right from something like heavy petting to full on sex. I have come to appreciate delaying the main event and continuing to stoke the fires with foreplay even after I know a chick is sopping and hungry for it and it seems to produce pretty good results.

That said the old and faithful quickie will always have a place in my play book.
