This episode was hit or miss for me, largely because there was less Suzutsuki and Konoe. The former had only one short scene and even the latter only had two equally short scenes. Konoe's first one in the infirmary was great though. I'm liking that the more flustered she gets, the more her act breaks down. Her VA is doing a really good job on it. It's not all the way male mode, or all the way female mode, she eases between the two.

I can't say I'm really a fan of the new girl. She's such a typical example of a side-character tsundere. Plus, Ise Mariya has been in pretty much half the series that have aired the past year or two. To be honest, I'm kind of getting tired of hearing her, since her voice is usually about the same in every role. Which is a stark contrast to Iguchi Yuka's Konoe, who sounds nothing like her normal roles (Index-types).

The plot is even kind of typical. Boy and Girl A are developing mutual affection, Girl A gets courage request to go some place, new Girl B appears, blackmails boy into doing the same thing, Girl A gets sad or upset.

This episode was disappointing given how well the series had been going so far. That said, I was a bit surprised how convincing Kinjirou's policewoman costume turned out to be compared to the other boys that looks like blatant cross-dressers. When Suzutsuki told them in the infirmary, the imagined costumes looked really obvious like him in drag. Can't wait to see what they force on Konoe, and I'm guessing it involves the glasses nekomimi girl.
