Yeah, Marik's is in mp3. I just followed the onscreen link to the flac version to check it out. I've been in a flac frenzy lately. The difference isn't always so much going from mp3 -> flac, but going back from flac -> mp3.
Program-wise, I daresay every modern player (Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp etc) can play it. Wikipedia has a compatability chart under their "FLAC" page, I believe. Ipod-wise... it should work.. no way the forward-running Apple wouldn't have it, heh.
I wouldn't get the flac version for a portable media player anyway, since it's a waste of space considering the typical earbud and noisefloor usage scenarios.
Listening at night with headphones at 2AM with dedicated sound cards/amps.. now that's something else entirely
PS: by "meh", it means I'll download it anyway :P
