The only time I actually feel old is when I am forced to interact with narrow-minded people, which I am sure you can all agree is a uniquely unpleasant chore.

From my perspective, from the perspective of someone who was told when they were 15 that they probably were not going to live to see 20. From the perspective of someone who is genuinely happy just to wake up everyday. You guys talking about how old you feel just seems ridiculous to me
Well if age is just a number, then it shouldn't matter what our numerical age is. I think we all talk on the same level here. Knowing our actual ages will just jade our perceptions of each other.

At 24 you still are very young, until you hang out with teenagers. They look and mostly act the same way you do, but the divide is there. When you realize or encounter that divide, that's when you feel your age.

I haven't see the Avengers, but I imagine he's referring to Thor looking like Patrick Swayze in Point Break. I've also played Galaga on the arcade machines back in the 80s.

Today I got my hair cut for the first time in 2-3 months. Seeing all the white hair mixed with the black as it collected on the salon cape really made me feel old. I almost cried.
