I went to 6 flag over Georgia yesterday with some colleagues, not really to celebrate it, since the timing was pure coincidence.

I almost died when I tried the Sky Coaster ride. After I finished the drop with nothing strange happening, the guy taking off the harness on my back called everyone present in the prep area and showed the harness. Apparently, it was done wrong, and I was lucky to have not slammed to the ground on the 1st drop.

It would have been the most ironic thing if it happened though.

I threw a dinner party the night before that. I only invited my team mates, so there was only 8 people present. I made Salisbury steak, vegetable Japanese curry (with grated apple in the sauce), bacon wrapped chicken breast with cream cheese and chive stuffing, Filipino bistek (beef dish with soy sauce and lemon), and my housemate made Nasi Lamak and a Greek salad. It was a very international dinner, to say the least.

Today I made pork and negi okonomiyaki as a cake replacement. They are both round, so I guess it counts.
