That sounds quite plausible. Though I still maintain my opinion that it wouldn't make the old players who levelled up in GGO using guns any happier if somebody suddenly transferred in from a different kind of game and started owning everybody with a sword. In the end they should and would be unaccustomed to fighting a master swordsman, but somehow I doubt Kirito would be as unaccustomed to fighting gunslingers as he should be (because he's Kirito). The cowboy robot already showed it's as if he had played the game for 600 hours already despite not knowing enough of it to fill the backside of a dvd case.
