Death gun's avatar is much taller too.
this weeks ep was extraordinarily boring, I didn't mind the part about Sinon and her friend, but pretty much everything else was so hard to endure and felt forced. The author tries so hard to make Kirito look like an antihero, but everyone knows that he will end up looking like mfing Jesus one episode later.

If it wasn't for the fact that these VR games weren't One Brain to One Character, I wouldn't be that surprised if someone was playing two characters at once.

Her real life friend being Death Gun was literally the first thing I thought of. But them both being there dispels that notion(mostly, I'm sure there are ways they could get around it if they wanted to).
Thatīs why Iīm still not convinced that we can confirm her not being death gun. "Well, I used a virtual hologram" or some bs.

Her? You mean Sinon? I don't think there's any chance of that for a multitude of reasons. While I did, like everybody, consider the dude a likely candidate at some point, it's kind of hard to imagine it, really, after we have seen the bunch of scenes from him. His main interest seems to be Sinon, most likely both outside and inside the game. I'm quite sure Death Gun's main interest is being Death Gun. He would practically need to have a clinically split personality to be Death Gun in addition to the desperate wooer we have been seeing. It would be a different thing if Death Gun killed everybody who had tried to approach Sinon or Sinon had shown any interest in, but DG seems to have his own, totally separate goals.
I reckon Death Gun could potentially be an AI aberration, like Yui, but with less independence. A whole team of Laughing Coffins could then use the character, overriding any autonomous functionality, and do they fell deeds. (Though I guess one at a time, not Twitch plays Death Gun style.) That might explain why he can do what he can and would also mean it's no single human always visiting the game with the same avatar like any other player.
