L-Elf had an interesting interpretation of the Anti-Theft mechanism. I had assumed that whoever gets into the mech first owns it, and any new person gets injected and dies. His take is that the mechanism weeds out non-students from the school-goers. The two theories could co-exist, but I'm going to guess they want us to take the school-kids version since they laid it out for us. The test would be to see if Shoko or someone would get rejected by sitting in a pre-owned mech. Saki wouldn't work because she's now immortal.

I didn't like the development so much either. It fleshed her out, but as Felix said it makes her into an attention whore. I'll still like her, but her "scarred, broken personality" didn't play out as tragically as I would have hoped. I'm sure domestic violence sucked, the problem is how Saki came away from it. This is particularly evident when being on stage (ie attention) fixes everything.

Last week Saki was built up to be someone who won't stand for wrong blames or bitch slaps. Her love for Haruto could have been her fatal flaw that ultimately turns down a path of ruin, but that all goes down the drain this week with her glory-seeking.

Again with Felix, it sucked to watch Haruto do nothing as well. If she's going to be the agile one, then Haruto needs to something to show as well. I can get past the skill-barrier since they're now vampires - and if you can inject immortality you might as well throw in the skill as a bonus.

Valvrave's operating time is also a mystery. From memory, it stops moving when the counter reaches 100/100.. but then the denominator increases (I forgot the circumstance) up to 666, and if you break that you go into some type of super-mode.
